Well it was bound to happen eventually, and I have found myself accepting it. One of the many evils of the internet, the "Trojan Horse" decided to discover my poor, defenseless(apparently so) computer and attacked with a precise, effecient method of "blah". It tore apart my Explorer.EXE and many of my programs, making access impossible. It was mortally wounded, my dear OS, and I had to put it out of its misery. I backed up some, not all,though still kinda dumb on my part, of my data. Thinking that I would put the new OS on my C drive partition and not the D. However, we had a mix up and thus, I lost a small portion of my music/pictures and left the infected C drive untouched. So now I am running Linux, or a version of it, Ubuntu. And That nasty Trojan is sealed away on the untouched C Drive partition, sleeping comfortably until I wipe it clean...

So alas, dear Windows XP, you served me well, but were ineffective against stupid viral nastiness. Now you are no more on my unit, and I will remember you... at least for a while....
